Letter

Letters are means of information and communication. It is use in since long time ago and still in practice. There are many kinds of letters. We can divide it into two types, they are formal and informal. Officials letters are called formal and unofficial letters are called informal letters. When we write formal letters, must follow the some rules. It should be written in official format. Official letters means we write it to the person, post and organization but informal letters no need to follow any rules. We can write directly to the persons. Generally we write it to our family, relatives or friends. We write letters in many purposes. It could be short or long, depends on subjects.

Letter writing is a kind of arts. Everybody can’t write good letters. We have to write letters in simple words and focus on main point. Paragraph also should be short. We shouldn’t write long and use vague words in letters. If we use words with multi meaning, response comes opposite. So we have to aware in use of words. Officials letters are more sensitive. Letters are not only communication and information it could be history too. We can keep it long time. We write letters to our family, friends and relatives in any situation or topics. It is oldest communication method but still in practice. People used to send letters by pigeon. Pigeon was trained and people used to bind letters on pigeon's legs and send it to its receivers. It was not effective and difficult to trust. Sometimes pigeon could attack by eagle and letter could be reach in receivers. But also people used it in long time. We can write letters describing our daily life. We can write our problems.

Before coming internet on uses, people used to send letters writing on papers through post office. Post office became more trusted and easier than oldest methods. We use envelop to pack letters. We used to paste stamp on envelop to make it official. There are two types to send letters, General and registered. Registered posted letters is more effective than normal and its more confidential. People pay some more money for registered letter. Post office was only one where we could drop letters and receive. People send letter to other people or offices with appropriate name and address. Offices uses post box number to receive letters and some popular person who receives regularly letters from others also use post box number. It is specific number which is given by post office for every users. Letters are more effective too due to its privacy. People believe that its sin to open others name letters. People can make new friends from different place. They can share their interest. They can write or inform about their place. People can understand each others and could be friends forever. It is called pen pal.

Sometimes people unable to receive letters due to miss addressed written. Sometimes miss people receive the letters due to its receivers name and its addressed. But letters use to bring happiness too. Getting information from nearest is one of the best moment. We can write our situation in details. It is believable. But letters bad thing is it takes time to reach receivers and could be late in reply. Sometimes it lost on the way to receivers due the persons careless. So people can’t receive letters. These days we have internet so we have lot of option to communicate with each others. We send and receive messages from email. But letter has big history and it was used long time to communicate each others.
